Food

We are currently serving all day fried breakfasts, mid-day roasts, soups, light snacks and home made sweets (they vary, at this moment we are offering a rich fruitcake, Heather’s chocolate sponge, and raspberry and kiwi fruit cheesecake), salads are mostly to order, as are sandwiches, and anything we have got on toast - and anything else we can put together for you. Talk to us - we will attempt to give you the taste experience you need. We will even try to do it healthily (see next parragraph).

 We will do our utmost to provide for any special diet (Celiac; salt, sugar free - (virtually free of any allergen that may worry you - I’m sorry, but peanuts “may” go through our kitchen).  We can give no guarantee to anyone who is allergic to just about anything, that traces of it cannot be in the food. But we do give our guarantee that if asked to exclude things from your meal, we will try our best to make sure they are excuded.  For more see our menu.

Art exhibition

We are also giving an oppurtunity for local artists to display their works. The more local and the more artistic (I don’t know how to judge the latter) or the more interesting their exhibition - the better.

Fun and games

Children and dogs are welcome; and we hope we can help entertain them (a few toys are provided).

Likewise we encourage the adults to entertain themselves (a few board games & WiFi are provided); and talk to each, even total strangers (not into that? just choose a seat facing away from everyone, you’ll be left alone).
